Children's Services

At Dreams & Wonders, we offer inclusive, child-centred equine-assisted wellbeing and learning services that support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs.

A safe space for big feelings

We offer a gentle, non-clinical environment where children can build trust, resilience, and self-belief at their own pace.

Individual-First Environment

Our work is trauma-informed, attachment-aware, and neuro-affirming, providing a calm, safe, and nurturing environment where children are supported as individuals, not labels.

Science-backed Equine Interactions

Horses offer a unique, non-judgemental presence, responding authentically to emotions and helping children develop trust, connection, and understanding of themselves and others.

Individual and Group Sessions

Sessions are tailored to each child’s pace and strengths and are offered on a 1:1 basis or in small, supportive groups.

Building Lifelong Skills

Through gentle, structured interactions with horses, nature, and creative therapeutic activities, children are supported to build confidence, emotional regulation, communication skills, and self-awareness.

Supporting Additional Needs

Our services are particularly supportive for children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional-based school avoidance, and social or sensory challenges.

Wider Support Plans

We work collaboratively with families, schools, and professionals to ensure our provision complements wider support plans and promotes positive wellbeing and developmental outcomes.

Had such a fantastic session with Jessica who was amazing with my daughter who has additional needs. Can't recommend Dreams and Wonders enough - can't wait for the next visit. We will be back!
