Each member of our herd has their own unique personality and a special way of connecting with our visitors, whether they are offering a quiet moment of reflection or teaching us about trust and boundaries.

The moment Jess saw this little golden bundle at just two days old, she knew he was special. After picking him up from the heart of Cornwall they became inseparable—and it was Dream’s gentle nature that inspired our very name
Now five years old, Dream is still our baby, but he carries a wisdom beyond his years.
While he isn’t ridden yet, he spends his days focusing his calm, golden energy entirely on our clients. He is a master of quiet connection and a curious friend to every Dreamer who walks through our gates.

Wonder
Stevie Wonder
Wonder is a Dartmoor Hill/Shetland cross who is living proof of the 'Wonder' in our name.
Originally from the wild Vixen herd, he had a difficult journey before finding sanctuary with us in August 2025. He had been passed through many different homes, struggling with trust because nobody realized the truth: Wonder was almost entirely blind.
With complete sight loss in one eye and a degenerative cataract in the other, the world was a confusing place for him. We gave him the apt show name Stevie Wonder, and set to work building his confidence! Since then, he has come on in leaps and bounds, transforming into a brilliant, gentle soul who is exceptionally patient with children and a favourite among our clients.

Jamie
Pure Celtic Gold
At 29 years young, Jamie is the wise veteran of our herd. Originally a riding school pony, Jamie was bought as a special 20th wedding anniversary gift for Julie, and has been at her side for 18 years since!
Jamie has lived a life of glamour and hard work; he spent years as a ride and drive horse, traveling up and down the country for horse shows, and pulling carriages for weddings and proms. After retiring at 21, he now enjoys a slower pace of life. His decades of experience make him incredibly steady, patient, and the perfect calm presence for our clients.

Swayze
SD Mr Swayze
Swayze is our 13-year-old Traditional Gypsy Cob, and he’s been with us since he was just two years old. Originally from SD Cobs stud in Oxfordshire, he spent his early years as a stallion before maturing into the gentle, steady soul he is today.
With 11 years of history at Dreams and Wonders, Swayze is a seasoned professional. He has done it all—from the spotlight of horse shows to pulling carriages for weddings and proms. His calm, 'been-there-done-that' attitude makes him an anchor for the herd and a comforting partner for our clients during their sessions.

Jazz
Hillgarth Jasmine
Jazz is a 5-year-old mare with a very special role at Dreams and Wonders. Having been passed from pillar to post before finding us two years ago, Jazz arrived with her own set of anxieties and trust issues. Because of her past, she is a deeply sensitive soul who wears her heart on her sleeve.
She is an opinionated teacher - she isn't afraid to let you know exactly how she’s feeling! Because she is so perceptive, she works exclusively with our adult clients, helping them recognize and navigate their own anxieties by mirroring them in real-time. She is a master of boundaries and authentic connection.
