Behind the Dream
Our dream began in summer 2025, founded by Jessica Nagra after witnessing the profound impact of horses and nature on wellbeing. With an MSc in Mental Health and Psychological Wellbeing, approaching 30 years of equestrian knowledge, and two decades of lived foster family experience, Jessica built this team to offer a different kind of support. Meet the experts behind the dream below, dedicated to creating a sanctuary for SEN and SEMH support.

Founding Director & Centre Manager
Jessica
Jessica brings academics and genuine lived insight to the centre. With an MSc in Mental Health and Psychological Wellbeing, a BA in Creative Arts Therapy, and specialist training in Adverse Childhood Experiences, Neurodiversity Life Coaching and ABA, she leads with expertise. A horsewoman of nearly 30 years and with lived foster family experience of two decades, she offers a deeply personal understanding of SEN and SEMH needs.

Equine Wellbeing Lead
Julie
With over 50 years of equestrian knowledge, Julie leads our animal-based wellbeing with a gentle, trauma-informed ethos. Specialising in PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) approaches, she creates a nurturing environment where children with SEN and SEMH needs can build trust and connection with our horses.

Holistic Wellbeing Practitioner
Fran
Fran is dedicated to person-centred support, ensuring every visitor feels valued. As a Holistic Wellbeing Practitioner with a Trauma Life Coach certification, she draws upon her genuine background as an expert by experience regarding SEN and looked-after children. This lived perspective allows her to offer authentic, relatable support within our wellness environment.

Autism Life Coach
Lucy
Lucy holds specialized qualifications in autism, mental health, education, and social work studies (TQUK Level 3 Certificates, alongside a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training and a Distinction in Social Work studies). What truly sets her apart is her lived experience as a neurodivergent individual. She knows firsthand how vital it is to feel seen and comfortable in your environment. Her lived experience ensures that everyone she works with feels safe, validated, and genuinely supported.

Social Media & Marketing Assistant
Nicole
Currently working towards BSC Environmental Science, Nicole manages our marketing with a passion for our nature-based philosophy. Her connection to the centre is personal, an equestrian for 15+ years alongside lived experience with mental health. Her perspective ensures our online community is supported by someone who truly understands the journey.
